inner city ghetto – my father was a steel mills labourer
and later went on to be a bus driver .
I say him work hard and make many sacrifices for his
family. He said son I never had the opportunity of an
education but make the most of yours. I attended a
comprehensive school and in my year 2 people eventually
made it to university.
I went to university and am currently working as scientist
in the private sector.
I paid a substantial part of my income as tax. This
contributes to the welfare of this nation.
I this recall the national front marches of the 70 ¬s and
being subject to racist overt and covert.
I remember as 12 year old bring told to go back to my own
country. But this is my country I love the UK.
This country has demographic crises a greater proportion
of old people compared to the young. The only country were
the reveres is true are places like Turkey – currently the
17th largest economy in the world.
Immigration is vital to the future of this country and I
although people often complain migrants are a strain on
local services. They offspring will be paying taxes in the
future to support the running of this country.
It's about time the natives in this country put asides
their guttural prejudices and recognise that the future of
this nation is coffee coloured. The debate about
immigration has been going on for 3 decades – it about
time the indigenous population move on and come up with a
solution to their problems and stop blaming immigrants.
Surely after 30 years it's not our fault but your own.
